Action UPDATE

Happy Friday Friends!!!

Welcome to another Little Scrap Pieces FUN FRIDAY CHALLENGE. Today I am honored to be the guest designer for the challenge. The theme this week: Action Cards.

Since I am a huge fan of action cards, whether in the form of  a pop up, sliding, swivel, twisted, waterfall, rocking, magic, spinner, wobblecascading, etc... I made two different cards you can use as inspiration for the challenge and I am still working on two more LOL!  I hope you like what you see and that you decide to join us, use whichever "Action Card" technique you feel more comfortable with or your favorite one, the above links are just for your reference.

For my first card, I decided to go with a sliding card and Tigger is sitting on a " modified" action wobble -I had to cut some of the outer edges so it would not show :)- background paper is from the Hello Summer paper stack from Echo Park, I got this courtesy of  Jaded Blossom ;)

Supplies:
Tigger was cut at about 4" from the Winnie The Pooh and Friends Cart.
Sentiments created with MS Custom Stamp Setting Kit
Action Woble
ATG glue gun

linking this over for Diana's 1000 post linking Party, this one runs till the end of the month, so still time to play!

If you are interested in getting a Cricut Craftroom cut file for a simple sliding card I made, please let me know on a comment below, so I can e-mail it to you. I am working on getting them on a sharing site :)

Now for our second card I made a "Rocking" card. The base circle is cut at 6" and the step is 1 1/2" inches deep.

linking over : Crafter's Companion Sept Challenge: Spots and stripes, the gifts have both so I hope it quialifies ;). I totally spaced out and forgot to link it earlier, not my brightest moment I admit, but glad I found out before they closed collection phew! ;)

pink embroidery floss and neddle
colored pencils and markers

Summer Fun Blog Hop, day 4

Hello friends, welcome to day 4 of our Summer Fun Blog Hop!                                 Don't you just love all the projects showcased this week? I am so lucky to be part of this fantastic hop I could not resist to keep on creating and today I want to share with you another Farm inspired project. This time I created a Piñata by recycling a box, using some scrap card stock, crepe paper, the fabulous eBosser, Xyron Corner Glue Stick, sticker maker and the X Tape Runner. I started by removing the flaps from the top of the box and then scoring two horizontal lines on the sides of it and a diagonal from the upper center point to the line on the sides. Cut slits on the corners all the way to the scored lines. Cut a small square on each side -just below the scored line-to run the rope thru them. Also, cut an opening on the back so you can fill it with goodies. Folded the new flaps inwards. Gl...
