Mug cozy and mug rug...



Hello craft world friends!

 I hope your day is going well. After a very long pause in my crafting life I am here to share with you  a quick gift idea. This took about 45 minutes to complete. What do you think?





Supplies:

Felt :(1) 5" square, (1) 9"x 2 1/2" rectangle, (1) 1 1/2"x 3" rectangle
Muslin: pre-washed and backed with fusible interfacing: (1) 4 1/2" square, (1) 8 1/2"x 2 " rectangle, (1) 1 "x 2 1/2" rectangle
Pinking shears
Iron
Parchment paper
Thread and Needle
Velcro fastener
Stazon Ink: Gold, Brown
Memento Luxe Ink: yellow
Stamps are from Altenew, MFT and Inspired by Stamping.

Pretty much all you have to do is stamp and iron to heat set the ink. In this case I used a sew in Velcro fastener for the mug's cozy.

Summer Fun Blog Hop, day 4

Hello friends, welcome to day 4 of our Summer Fun Blog Hop!                                 Don't you just love all the projects showcased this week? I am so lucky to be part of this fantastic hop I could not resist to keep on creating and today I want to share with you another Farm inspired project. This time I created a Piñata by recycling a box, using some scrap card stock, crepe paper, the fabulous eBosser, Xyron Corner Glue Stick, sticker maker and the X Tape Runner. I started by removing the flaps from the top of the box and then scoring two horizontal lines on the sides of it and a diagonal from the upper center point to the line on the sides. Cut slits on the corners all the way to the scored lines. Cut a small square on each side -just below the scored line-to run the rope thru them.
