It's your Birthday card

Hello friends!

Well after being technology challenged all day I think I got under control now, LOL! My second post for today is my entry on the PKS challenge 15: Just cards, use your PKS to make your own background. This is my take:

This trifold card is from the Just a note Cart, I cut it on white card stock.
For this panel I used the Happy Birthday stamp from PKS 781,using a multicolored metallic pigment ink, the rest was inked in a very soft green and added some confetti. The Smiley face from that set is the one I used on the metallic balloon.

For my back panel's background  used the balloon from PKS 781, inked every balloon and used a gel pen for the light's reflection. I inked the background on a very soft blue.
This is how it looked like, I took this first pic before I added the white to the ballons and daylight is gone now :( so I could not get a decent pic

Craft your days away, theme: For children
Milk Cofee: Lots of layers The card it self is a trifold, the sentiment has 3 layers. The critter has 2 layers as well as the ballon. the hat has a twine pom pom for embellisment (i hope it fullfills the requirements for the challenge ;) )

Thank you for taking time to stop by, I do appreciate your comment, have blessed day!

Summer Fun Blog Hop, day 4

Hello friends, welcome to day 4 of our Summer Fun Blog Hop!                                 Don't you just love all the projects showcased this week? I am so lucky to be part of this fantastic hop I could not resist to keep on creating and today I want to share with you another Farm inspired project. This time I created a Piñata by recycling a box, using some scrap card stock, crepe paper, the fabulous eBosser, Xyron Corner Glue Stick, sticker maker and the X Tape Runner. I started by removing the flaps from the top of the box and then scoring two horizontal lines on the sides of it and a diagonal from the upper center point to the line on the sides. Cut slits on the corners all the way to the scored lines. Cut a small square on each side -just below the scored line-to run the rope thru them. Also, cut an opening on the back so you can fill it with goodies. Folded the new flaps inwards. Gl...
