twice as fun!

Happy crafty saturday Friends!

I hope your weekend has been wonderful thus far! Today I want to share with you 2 projects one super simple inspired by this week's Fantabulous Cricut Challenge me Monday featuring Jaded Blossom , the theme: Tooth fairy or a smile. Here is my take: a set of envelope and note card.

I used Baby Steps, I welded - using the always trusty Gypsy- both, the base and layer cuts, to remove the bow from the layer and to keep the rounded edges on the bottom. I also cut the circles using one of the tags from Gypsy Wanderings. There is still time to play along :) come and join!

Now for my second project today I made a 6" square card using the theme "Friendship" inspired by Crafter's Companion USA and D.L. Art: Thankful Thursday Challenge
I hope you can see the glitter accents on the gifts, cupcake wrapper, and candle ;)

Thank you for taking time to stop by, have a lovely weekend!
Liz

Summer Fun Blog Hop, day 4

Hello friends, welcome to day 4 of our Summer Fun Blog Hop!                                 Don't you just love all the projects showcased this week? I am so lucky to be part of this fantastic hop I could not resist to keep on creating and today I want to share with you another Farm inspired project. This time I created a Piñata by recycling a box, using some scrap card stock, crepe paper, the fabulous eBosser, Xyron Corner Glue Stick, sticker maker and the X Tape Runner. I started by removing the flaps from the top of the box and then scoring two horizontal lines on the sides of it and a diagonal from the upper center point to the line on the sides. Cut slits on the corners all the way to the scored lines. Cut a small square on each side -just below the scored line-to run the rope thru them. Also, cut an opening on the back so you can fill it with goodies. Folded the new flaps inwards. Gl...
