Hello friends!
I hope your day is going well. I wanted to quickly pop in and share with you a CAS note set I created for my child's teacher.
Note cards are 3" with envelope, each box holds 8 sets. I remember that not long ago wherever I go I could see animal prints, of course when I need them they are not available LOL!
I went for the Zebra print since the class' slogan is "wild about learning" so what a better match to her class décor right? Well, all honesty it was kind of hard to completely decoupage a box this small, it took three attempts, and the third time was the charm =)... I got a favor to ask if you are a decoupage lover and have any tips to share they will be greatly appreciated! :).
I decided to keep it as CAS as possible since the paper alone is kind of busy ;) but to make them a little bit more interesting - I think- I cut the patterned paper on different shapes and decorated the scalloped circle in different ways. What do you think, to CAS or too much?
It has been a while since a played at some of my favorite challenges, so I am happy I could link this little project to four of them ;)
MTC'sDesigner Challenge: Black and White
IBS: Distress
LSP: Anything goes linky party
DLART: August Linky party
I hope Mrs. H likes these little notes, will you go all BW or would you add a variation in color for the background??
