A tag and a LO

Hello my fellow Cricuteers!

Another Terrific Tuesday at Exploring Cricut is here :) And today I wanted to share with you two quick projects. The first one is a tag/ornament created based on the following sketch:

For this I used Gypsy Wanderings (snowman tag) hid the snowman part and cut blackout on red and tag on red and white chevron from DCWV The basic stack.
Flower was made with MCT Rolled flower using DCWV's stack 8.
The ribbon rossette is made with  sheer ribbon 1/4" wide.
Center of the flower is from Docerela,  a white mini rose.
More sheer ribbon, strung beads and lace - from stash- to finish the tag.
Sentiment " May your holiday season be merry and bright" is from IBS.
For the ornament hook I used 18 gauge wire, 4 bicone beads, 2 roundels and a tear drop bead, round nose pliers.

Now for my second project. I followed this  LO sketch:

I used Formal Occasions Cart for the frame (corsage) and rectangles from CCR Basics for the background.I flipped the photo 90 degrees so it will fit a picture of our Xmas Tree - hopefully will be decorated this weekend ;)-.

Papers are DCWV Stack 8, Journal Tag is from Studio 112 And Sentiment from IBS "... Let the spirit of love gently fill our hearts and homes. In this loveliest of seasons may you find many reasons for happiness...". Sheer ribbon is from Michael's, rig rag is from Joann's. The title ( OUR XMAS Tree) was made out of Wood Veneer letters from Studio Calico.

Summer Fun Blog Hop, day 4

Hello friends, welcome to day 4 of our Summer Fun Blog Hop!                                 Don't you just love all the projects showcased this week? I am so lucky to be part of this fantastic hop I could not resist to keep on creating and today I want to share with you another Farm inspired project. This time I created a Piñata by recycling a box, using some scrap card stock, crepe paper, the fabulous eBosser, Xyron Corner Glue Stick, sticker maker and the X Tape Runner. I started by removing the flaps from the top of the box and then scoring two horizontal lines on the sides of it and a diagonal from the upper center point to the line on the sides. Cut slits on the corners all the way to the scored lines. Cut a small square on each side -just below the scored line-to run the rope thru them. Also, cut an opening on the back so you can fill it with goodies. Folded the new flaps inwards. Gl...
