Happy Tuesday Crafty Friends!

Welcome back! I am so glad you stop by because I have another very trendy project to share with you ;) I can honestly say I am loving the "Stay Connected" dies from Craftwell, so many possibilities!!!




Creative supplies:
"Stay Connected" Dies from Craftwell
Shrink Plastic: black and white
Jump rings
Round nose pliers
Lever earrings
Core' dinations White Wash Card Stock
Sanding gadget and dusting cloth
eCraft
eBosser
Teresa Collins' Wood grain cottage Embossing Folder
Permanent adhesive
glitter paper
Xyron Sticker Maker

plate Combos:
For SP: D + C + (2) *rubber shims+ Magnetic Shim + Metal Dies+ Wax paper + Shrink Plastic + Metal Adapter + A
For EF: D+C+ EF+A
For MD: D+C+ B *+Magnetic shim +Metal Dies+ Wax paper +Paper+ A
* Please note that plate B or a rubber shim might be optional depending on the thickness of your paper/plastic, I used light weight paper.

Creative process:
Arrange your Plate combo. I noted that it cuts better when using a piece of shrink plastic that is slightly larger than the die instead of a large piece. Space your dies over the plate for ease of cutting.
Punch holes on the plastic geo tags to turn them into a tear shaped "beads". Bake your plastic pieces according to manufacturer’s instructions. Confession: At first, in order to save some time -I thought :?- I used a heat embossing tool, but it did not work too well so I went back to the oven method, I thought this was worth sharing since you probably don’t want to experiment and waste material right?
Let your pieces cool before handling and join them using your pliers and jump rings. Assemble your earrings and done!

Now for the display I used a pattern I found on Pinterest  and here for the tutorial I just made an SVG cutting file for future projects. IMHO this display works best with dangling earrings rather than with studs, because the length and weight of the earrings keep the top part from straightening back, if it makes sense ;). I cut the file with the eCraft, ran it thru the eBosser using Teresa Collins' Wood grain EF. Score the triangular sides, fold backward and glue their base to the back of the bottom piece. Please note:  I folded the triangular edges in a different way to simulate a swan, since the recipient of these loves swans :) I think it works don't you?

Summer Fun Blog Hop, day 4

Hello friends, welcome to day 4 of our Summer Fun Blog Hop!                                 Don't you just love all the projects showcased this week? I am so lucky to be part of this fantastic hop I could not resist to keep on creating and today I want to share with you another Farm inspired project. This time I created a Piñata by recycling a box, using some scrap card stock, crepe paper, the fabulous eBosser, Xyron Corner Glue Stick, sticker maker and the X Tape Runner. I started by removing the flaps from the top of the box and then scoring two horizontal lines on the sides of it and a diagonal from the upper center point to the line on the sides.
