Don't worry! A2 card with detachable hair comb

Good evening friends!

I hope your day is going well. Mine has been a roller coaster :(... I just got some distressing news regarding one of my  sisters health, of course I cannot help to worry, so today's card serves two purposes: to try and cheer her up and to remind me that one should act and not worry!

Well enough said, the card was made based on this week's Mojo Monday's sketch and MCT's current Designer challenge: color combo/ at least 3 flowers. Also used a simple sentiment for this inspired by the Just Cards, Word up challenge over at PKS.

And here is my take

The sentiment is from the PKS July 2012 set and the rolled flower was made using the MCT rolled flowers die and some K & Company Paper.
Once again I decided to make the flowers detachable, and used a hair comb to do the trick. the small white flowers are made out of twisted narrow satin ribbon.
the center flower was cut using the Chic Frame from Cuttlebug.

Thank you for stopping by, I do appreciate your comments have blessed day!

Summer Fun Blog Hop, day 4

Hello friends, welcome to day 4 of our Summer Fun Blog Hop!                                 Don't you just love all the projects showcased this week? I am so lucky to be part of this fantastic hop I could not resist to keep on creating and today I want to share with you another Farm inspired project. This time I created a Piñata by recycling a box, using some scrap card stock, crepe paper, the fabulous eBosser, Xyron Corner Glue Stick, sticker maker and the X Tape Runner. I started by removing the flaps from the top of the box and then scoring two horizontal lines on the sides of it and a diagonal from the upper center point to the line on the sides. Cut slits on the corners all the way to the scored lines. Cut a small square on each side -just below the scored line-to run the rope thru them. Also, cut an opening on the back so you can fill it with goodies. Folded the new flaps inwards. Gl...
