halloween napkin holder

Hello friends!
  I hope your day is going well. I am so happy I got a full afternoon of crafting YEAH!!! thanks to my hubby who kindly took care of the kids, so I could play a little!!  Well enough talking, -sorry I get carried away LOL!-
This time around I got a napkin holder/ party favor/treat... I know, I know I like my crafts to be useful to the max, hehe.... Well here it is:


I gotta get back to craft the other 16 I need for my child's class Halloween party!!!



The inspiration came from MS with her Paper bag witch brooms. The broom/ treat , is a pencil decorated with some craft paper tied with jute ;) Inside the broom is a mini lollipop :) then I decided to dress up this super cute Digi, courtesy of Jaded Blossom which is sitting on an AW. For the Hat I used a "spare" Top hat I cut from Create a Critter (caterpillar) and made it a witch's hat by cutting the top edges. I added the stars which are the negatives from the elegant ovals - I think that is the name ;?, I apologize I forgot the name of them- from Spellbinders.



The ring was made with crimped Kraft stock. And to complete the ensemble I added Glow in the dark paint to the Eyes and stars! this was kind of tricky to photograph, maybe when I finish them all I will get a better pic, will be back to update this ;)

Summer Fun Blog Hop, day 4

Hello friends, welcome to day 4 of our Summer Fun Blog Hop!                                 Don't you just love all the projects showcased this week? I am so lucky to be part of this fantastic hop I could not resist to keep on creating and today I want to share with you another Farm inspired project. This time I created a Piñata by recycling a box, using some scrap card stock, crepe paper, the fabulous eBosser, Xyron Corner Glue Stick, sticker maker and the X Tape Runner. I started by removing the flaps from the top of the box and then scoring two horizontal lines on the sides of it and a diagonal from the upper center point to the line on the sides. Cut slits on the corners all the way to the scored lines. Cut a small square on each side -just below the scored line-to run the rope thru them.
