Watercolor play take 2

Welcome back!

Well, since I could not stop thinking about watercolors and all the many techniques available I decided to give it another try. I feel I need to practice more but so far I am having fun ;) Thanks again to all the fabulous designers participating on the PPP Watercolor Blog Hop and all of the challenge participants. I am amazed at the vast number of talented people out there!



Said that, here is a couple of pocket page style cards. These are 4x6". I used a heart shape to mask the area where I wanted to stamp my sentiment. For the pink card I applied the watercolor using my fingers and for the blue I applied it using a brush. Using the brush provided a more even distribution of color.


for the next card I watered down distress ink and used the generation stamping technique with hearts to create a bokeh effect.


I will be also joining the monthly challenge over at: Viginia's View, the theme this month is Monocromatic

Summer Fun Blog Hop, day 4

Hello friends, welcome to day 4 of our Summer Fun Blog Hop!                                 Don't you just love all the projects showcased this week? I am so lucky to be part of this fantastic hop I could not resist to keep on creating and today I want to share with you another Farm inspired project. This time I created a Piñata by recycling a box, using some scrap card stock, crepe paper, the fabulous eBosser, Xyron Corner Glue Stick, sticker maker and the X Tape Runner. I started by removing the flaps from the top of the box and then scoring two horizontal lines on the sides of it and a diagonal from the upper center point to the line on the sides. Cut slits on the corners all the way to the scored lines. Cut a small square on each side -just below the scored line-to run the rope thru them.
