Thank You, Watercolor floral card

Happy Monday!!

I hope your day is going well. Today I wanted to stop by and share a card that fits into various challenges from fabulous companies that you might want to join in too!

For my inspiration, I took the "Color Palette" and "String" challenges from Inspired By Stamping ,
and combined them with the "Sparkle" challenge from Avery Elle and the "Embossing" Challenge from CAS-UAL Fridays . And last but not least the Sketch from Happy Little Stampers

I was not sure if I could pull this one off, but must say I am very pleased with the end result, what do you think?

For this I used:

Crafting Desert Divas Sequins
WOW White Embossing Powder
Range Black Embossing Powder
Clear Accents
A short piece of string to add to the neck of the bottle
Watercolors
A Kraft A2 Portrait Card Base
5 1/4 x 4 " piece of Watercolor paper
Simon Says Stamps Dye Ink: Jellybean ( this is an AWESOME INK for watercolors!!! it does not smear once it dries and you add watter!)
Heat Embossing tool

  2. Well, I think you did an amazing job!! This is one of my favourite techniques to do with water colouring. I'm not very good with my brush, so isn't it great the embossing creates a barrier. Your colours are gorgeous and love the soft blue background. And how handy it could fit into so many challenges!! So glad you joined us at CAS-ual Fridays!

Summer Fun Blog Hop, day 4

Hello friends, welcome to day 4 of our Summer Fun Blog Hop!                                 Don't you just love all the projects showcased this week? I am so lucky to be part of this fantastic hop I could not resist to keep on creating and today I want to share with you another Farm inspired project. This time I created a Piñata by recycling a box, using some scrap card stock, crepe paper, the fabulous eBosser, Xyron Corner Glue Stick, sticker maker and the X Tape Runner. I started by removing the flaps from the top of the box and then scoring two horizontal lines on the sides of it and a diagonal from the upper center point to the line on the sides. Cut slits on the corners all the way to the scored lines. Cut a small square on each side -just below the scored line-to run the rope thru them. Also, cut an opening on the back so you can fill it with goodies. Folded the new flaps inwards. Gl...
