Crafters Companion April's challenge: Mother's day

Hello friends! I hope your day is going well. Just wanted to quickly drop by to share the card I created for this month's CC challenge, I am so very sorry this is last minute ;( I just spaced out on this one while I waited for some new stamps to arrive, but since there is no time left I had to use my Strawberry Kisses Yum set to play ;)

I mainly used the hearts and the "YUM" stamps from this set. I masked the "Y" and stamped a second "m" for mum. I used the smaller heart with Versamark ink, the regular kind and the frost shade, to make some sort of background on the small tag.

I used the two hearts that come with the set and stamped them along an 11'' long strip of card stock,  for my flower, this is my first rolled paper flower and I forgot to take pics, sorry got carried away!!, but will post the images later when I make another ;) I colored the petals with two different shades of pink watercolor markers, to finish it up I added glitter to each petal- it is official, I have crossed over to bling and glitter world :)LOL and the  leaves are left overs from another project, cannot remember where I got them :(

The charm is from Michaels on the weeding section from a while ago, the beads on the back are string beads from Hobby lobby also from a while ago, I used Spellbinders Label 18 for both tags, The base was embossed using the Rebbecca EF and the Cuttlelbug.
What do you think?

Thank you for taking time to stop by, I do appreciate your comment, have blessed day!

Summer Fun Blog Hop, day 4

Hello friends, welcome to day 4 of our Summer Fun Blog Hop!                                 Don't you just love all the projects showcased this week? I am so lucky to be part of this fantastic hop I could not resist to keep on creating and today I want to share with you another Farm inspired project. This time I created a Piñata by recycling a box, using some scrap card stock, crepe paper, the fabulous eBosser, Xyron Corner Glue Stick, sticker maker and the X Tape Runner. I started by removing the flaps from the top of the box and then scoring two horizontal lines on the sides of it and a diagonal from the upper center point to the line on the sides. Cut slits on the corners all the way to the scored lines. Cut a small square on each side -just below the scored line-to run the rope thru them. Also, cut an opening on the back so you can fill it with goodies. Folded the new flaps inwards. Gl...
