Another birthday card (A2)

Hello crafty friends!

 I hope your day is going well. I am so happy !!! I have been lucky to get some crafting time today - while the hubs wasn't looking, shhh!! LOL!-,For the following card I used my Spectrum Noir markers : Purples, Browns, Pinks and Yellows. Another cute Crafter's Companion image, I love this kitty, MCT and Spellbinder dies, clear accents, pink glitter and some washi tape.



I needed a card for a baby girl that is turning 1, so I though it would this image is perfect since she loves her white kitty!

I am unsure about the absence of a sentiment. I used a large sentiment inside though, but did not want to overcrowd the front of the card, what do you think? should I replace the banner with a sentiment or leave it alone?

Summer Fun Blog Hop, day 4

Hello friends, welcome to day 4 of our Summer Fun Blog Hop!                                 Don't you just love all the projects showcased this week? I am so lucky to be part of this fantastic hop I could not resist to keep on creating and today I want to share with you another Farm inspired project. This time I created a Piñata by recycling a box, using some scrap card stock, crepe paper, the fabulous eBosser, Xyron Corner Glue Stick, sticker maker and the X Tape Runner. I started by removing the flaps from the top of the box and then scoring two horizontal lines on the sides of it and a diagonal from the upper center point to the line on the sides. Cut slits on the corners all the way to the scored lines. Cut a small square on each side -just below the scored line-to run the rope thru them.
