Wish big, A2 Shaker card

Hello crafty friends!!!! 

 I hope your week has been fabulous thus far, if not hang in there it is Thursday!!!! We are just a skip and a hope away from the so precious weekend ! Today I am sharing a card I created to  join a couple of my favorite challenges:

And  My Creative Time:ABC Challenge, for which I chose the letter “S

Shooting Star ( the window was cut using Cricut’s Everyday Paper Dolls , page 65 accessories 2)

  3. Thanks for your sweet comment Liz. I had to come and check out your card too. SO cute and I love how you were able to get both of those fun challenges done with one card!     1. Hello there! Thanks for visiting! I used my sewing machine before attaching the front panel to the base of my card :) I will try to make a tutorial for this next week so you can see how I do it, I hope you come back to see it, most likely Friday, you can always become a Blogging Friend so you get the notification when I post something :)

  5. What makes this a shaker card? Never heard that expression. Please explain.

    1. Underneath the clear acetate there are seed beads ( you can use, sequins or glitter too), that move when you shake the card. And to make it you create a "window casing" with pop up tape following the shape of your window concealed under the front panel. I hope this helps!

Summer Fun Blog Hop, day 4

Hello friends, welcome to day 4 of our Summer Fun Blog Hop!                                 Don't you just love all the projects showcased this week? I am so lucky to be part of this fantastic hop I could not resist to keep on creating and today I want to share with you another Farm inspired project. This time I created a Piñata by recycling a box, using some scrap card stock, crepe paper, the fabulous eBosser, Xyron Corner Glue Stick, sticker maker and the X Tape Runner. I started by removing the flaps from the top of the box and then scoring two horizontal lines on the sides of it and a diagonal from the upper center point to the line on the sides. Cut slits on the corners all the way to the scored lines. Cut a small square on each side -just below the scored line-to run the rope thru them.
