Free Standing Pop Up Card, Monochromatic

Hello Crafty friends!

I hope your day is going well. I am here to share with you my entry for the current MCT Designer Challenge: Monochromatic.

Here it is closed and ready to go.

I created this Free Standing Pop Up Card following this tutorial, my Ebosser to give the base some texture, and to cut some of the pieces using My Creative Time dies. I stamped my MCT sentiments with Chocolate brown Memento Ink and distressed some of my diecuts with TH " Wild Honey" distress ink. Most of the supplies are from a kit my sweet DT Sister Karla from Creative Love Affair sent me :) Here is a pic of the kit and the sweet card she sent :)

Since it came to me I have been admiring it. It is so pretty I did not want to mess it up!.. Well everything except the YUMMY chocolate ;)..I know I am a lost case! LOL! I was so inspired by all she has created with the kit I sent her that I  had to get crafty myself :) Thanks for the inspiration Karla!!

Summer Fun Blog Hop, day 4

Hello friends, welcome to day 4 of our Summer Fun Blog Hop!                                 Don't you just love all the projects showcased this week? I am so lucky to be part of this fantastic hop I could not resist to keep on creating and today I want to share with you another Farm inspired project. This time I created a Piñata by recycling a box, using some scrap card stock, crepe paper, the fabulous eBosser, Xyron Corner Glue Stick, sticker maker and the X Tape Runner. I started by removing the flaps from the top of the box and then scoring two horizontal lines on the sides of it and a diagonal from the upper center point to the line on the sides. Cut slits on the corners all the way to the scored lines. Cut a small square on each side -just below the scored line-to run the rope thru them. Also, cut an opening on the back so you can fill it with goodies. Folded the new flaps inwards. Gl...
