Cherry blossom small card

My second post for today is my entry for the Monday Madness: Imagine that! color challenge going on at MCT with Emma. Color scheme: Brown, Black and Pink. So here is my mini card ;)

Again not having an imagine I had to use digi papers from SheryKDesigns, for my pink and light brown patterned papers. The blossom was hand drawn and cut, colored with chalks.
I just love this quote from Hans Christian Anderson, I printed it using Freehand font.

And just when I was ready to post this OH HAPPY DAY! my hubby remembered he had forgotten to get the mail ;) and there it was a the so awaited manila envelope!!!! I was so exited to get the "Many Greetings" set from EMMA! I knew I had to use it, so, here it is ;)

OH SO EXCITED I GOT THIS SET, THANK YOU EMMA! IT WILL BE VERY USEFUL!!!

Summer Fun Blog Hop, day 4

Hello friends, welcome to day 4 of our Summer Fun Blog Hop!                                 Don't you just love all the projects showcased this week? I am so lucky to be part of this fantastic hop I could not resist to keep on creating and today I want to share with you another Farm inspired project. This time I created a Piñata by recycling a box, using some scrap card stock, crepe paper, the fabulous eBosser, Xyron Corner Glue Stick, sticker maker and the X Tape Runner. I started by removing the flaps from the top of the box and then scoring two horizontal lines on the sides of it and a diagonal from the upper center point to the line on the sides. Cut slits on the corners all the way to the scored lines. Cut a small square on each side -just below the scored line-to run the rope thru them.
